Kadlec Medical Center partners with ChartConnect

Richland, Washington - October 15, 2002. ChartConnect announced today that Kadlec Medical Center of Richland, WA. has signed an agreement to sponsor ChartConnect ResultManager for all 105 of their staff and community providers. ChartConnect is a Web-based medical software developer that provides a comprehensive electronic medical record (EMR) for physician practices and hospitals nationwide.

"Kadlec believes physicians need to be on an EMR to control costs and gain efficiency, or risk declining profits. Therefore Kadlec agreed to sponsor ChartConnect ResultManager to expose them to ChartConnect's full EMR product," according to David Roach, Vice President of Operations at Kadlec.

Using Web-based technology, ChartConnect quickly and easily creates automatic interfaces for hospital, lab and radiology data so that all the information a provider needs is in one place – at their computer desktop, in an easy-to-use format. ChartConnect's ResultManager application will allow Kadlec's providers and staff the ability to electronically view ADT messages and face sheets, lab results, radiology reports, and transcribed reports; and sign off on lab results and reports. It will also provide a messaging and routing system for all medical staff and providers.
